The Grose River from high above at Faulconbridge Lookout While the upper Grose River is regularly visited by people heading for the Blue Gum Forest and surrounds, the lower Grose is often forgotten. This is a pity, as in many ways it is more wild and less touched than some of the upper sections.

A side trip to The Grotto. Track Notes. We used A Day in the Bush for track notes to Grose Mountain Lookout, but it's straightforward to then continue up the mountain itself for more good views.
